Weymouth’s annual Beach Kite festival is looking forward to an amazing 2012 festival with all the buzz and excitement of being an official Olympic Venue.
The town and the area have been very busy preparing to host the LONDON 2012 Sailing and Paralympic Sailing events with millions of pounds of investment into its road system, seafront development and maritime facilities.
The 2012 Weymouth Kite Festival will take place over the May Bank holiday (5th, 6th, 7th May) and will embrace all the fun of kite flying on Weymouth’s Central Beach and its enchanting, Great British seaside fun.
Weymouth’s kite organising team have been delighted to hear from many of the kite flyers and traders who have supported this event over the past twenty years and this year they will be joined by even more new teams and personalities.
